Latest Police Advice for Business following London disturbances

Following another night of tensions across the capital, we are continuing to liaise with the Metropolitan Police to obtain the latest advice for business in order to ensure London’s SME community are provided with as much information as possible.
During the disturbances, all types of businesses have been targeted. Whilst criminal activity has taken place across London there is currently no specific intelligence on individual targeting of business premises.
There are a number of things the police are asking businesses to consider to assist with the investigation. Full details can be found online, along with the latest crime prevention advice and information on what to do if your business has been affected.
To get the latest information on incidents in your area you can sign up to Neighbourhood link www.neighbourhoodlink.met.police.uk/registration/
You can also email any information directly to the police through the MPS Communities Together Strategic Engagement Team at CommunitiesTogether@met.police.uk
We are expecting further information to be issued by the GLA soon. We understand that this will inform SME’s about the specific support that will be available to help businesses that have been affected recover. We will continue to keep you updated as soon as more information is available.
Regards,
Brett
