Rwandese Are Not Ugandans

Hello Ugandans,

I live in Canada and all the Rwandese that have been raised again roll back into Toronto. And for some reason we have got very many of them in this city that have been protected by some Ugandans that claim to know these friends better than anyone states. I raise several names for you of the friends Ugandans try very hard to call Ugandans when actually they are Rwandese and their interests are not Uganda but Rwanda. And I give you a name of Paul Kagame who was so much debated in Uganda net where we are told how true a Ugandan he was for Kagame does not even speak Rwandese and he will never return to Rwanda. Guess what he is a Rwandese and one can wonder whether when he was serving in UPDF he cared more of Rwanda or Uganda. Second name is John Rukumbura who is my neighbor right here, that argument also took a life of its own on how we must accept that he is a Ugandan but John states very well that he a true a Rwandese and he has defended not only his country but his government as well. A third name is a very close friend I had in this city that many in North America knew, called Dusaidi Claude.

Now Dusaidi was a very interesting character for he was not only defended as a true Mukiga but Dusaidi made very many crucial decisions for the Ugandans in North America. Claude was one of the people that defended but built UNAA in this city, he was one of the people that started an NRM branch in Toronto. When he was teaching in York University some of us took a moment to question why he was making decisions on behalf of Ugandans in this city when we knew his back ground and we knew that he was a Rwandese and not a Mukiga. We were attacked as bad as a people that will never accept that someone can be a Mukiga and never a Rwandese. Well Dusaidi Claude ran Uganda issues even to when the Ministers of Uganda visited this city and he was one of the people praising the strength of his Uganda government for the strength to fight the Rwandese war. In fact to those that have memories about that meeting, it was Dr Muniini Mulera and Dusaidi Claude that became the best Ugandans to praise the Movement government at a time.

A change however came in when the Rwandese war intensified that Claude left his job in York University and flew to Washington and became the representative of the Kagame regime. As soon as Kagame was sworn to power Claude ,’’the Ugandan’’ became a Rwandese ambassador to I think New York then South Africa where he died. And a critical thinker then stands and wonders about the interests Claude served when he was the leader of the Ugandans in this city.

But let me take a second to also clarify on the mistake  some Ugandans do when backing these arguments they fail to think about critically, Yes , some people can claim to know Professor Grace Galabuzi from Masaka and his name as Galabuzi, but we have had similar names used and either changed completely or left as standard, and again I give you a name of John Rukumbura which is a true Rwandese name, but that was not his name all along when  he was in Uganda, his name from time memorial was Rwabyomere. Now Rwabyomere is a very interesting name for when you call it Rwebyomere it is different from Rwabyomere so it fits in both Batooro and Banyankole depending on how you read it. 

Now if a Ugandan grew up knowing John as  Rwabyomere or Rwebyomere all his life he will swear that he is a Ugandan only to change his name Rukumbura after the Rwandese government changed. Well let us look at another name of Dr Beingana. This was a director of Medical services in UPDF, but Beingana sounds to ''Okurut'' in the north as a real Mukiga although we knew him to be a Rwandese. Uganda government allowed Beyingana to serve as director medical services with no questions asked till when the attack of Rwanda happened and Beingana left his office to go and attack his country. It is even alleged that he was supposed or he believed that he was going to be the leader of Rwanda which caused his death. And I will leave it at that for now. By the way from his childhood Grace was called Galabuzi, just on record.
