Interesting- i asked several people who I found at Garuga exactly as I did at Imperial Botanical Gardens Entebbe -
Question: what has happened to the water
Answer: At Garuga a teacher told me that probably someone had pour green oil paint in the water!
Answer: Ggaba Landing site a fisher man - that was Mukasa - a sort of natural an unexplainable phenomenon with sequenced occurance
Answer: Imperial Botanical Gardens - fish food maybe!
The truth is that all so called beaches on lake Victoria are polluted with
- Fecal pollutants
- High levels of phosphates from flowering farms
- Nutrient Load from drainage channels - Nakivubo
all the above are necessitating toxic algae blooming - a result of NRM industrailisation process!
