World Heritage in Africa Region

This brochure presents the principal results of the Second Cycle of Periodic Reporting in the Africa region. The exercise involved the 44 States Parties which had ratified the 1972 Convention Concerning the Protection of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage and the 78 World Heritage properties inscribed on the World Heritage List at the launch of the exercise in January 2010. http://unesdoc.unesco.org/images/0019/001930/193019e.pdf
